Verizon Wireless finally has launched its cell LG phone camera Chocolate VX8600 slim handset that it has taken a niche for itself in the mobile market.

Verizon Wireless is selling the VX8600 for $129.99 after a 2-year service contract.

Ever since the RAZR by Motorola first premiered, ultra-thin flip phones have come a long way technologically, in a very short span of time. LG’s “VX” series of phones have progressed similarly, in terms of battery life, responsiveness, signal strength, and call quality. The VX8600 is no different. Built to compete with the MotoKRZR, it comes in a variety of colors/styles. One thing I immediately noticed about this phone is that it is incredibly thin. With most phones, people tend to want to carry them in a belt or pocket clip, for whatever reason. The phone itself is quite attractive, with a relatively large display screen and a responsive set of controls, including MP3 player controls located on the front panel that could be manipulated when the unit was closed.

First and foremost, the battery life leaves a lot to be desired. I tend to follow a good discipline of allowing Lithium Ion batteries in electronics to drain to nearly empty before fulling charging them. There was an adapter that came with the phone that allowed it to dock with a standard jack, but this came as a separate, detachable piece.
